Santorini, Greece

One of the most beautiful places on earth!!

The first time I visited Santorini, Greece and made my way to the town of Oia, I was in complete awe. I had never experienced such an awesome wonder view! Overlooking the deep dark blue water of the caldera in contrast to the whitewashed buildings was breathtaking.

Each time I travel to Oia, I am still in awe of the true beauty of this little town perched on the top of a cliff overlooking the beautiful water of the Mediterranean.

In May 2018 I was able to take my teenage son Sam with me to Santorini. For years I had been telling Sam how beautiful Oia was and now he was going to experience it for himself. We arrived into Oia early in the morning and there were very few tourists. We could actually see the marble pathways along the cliff top. It was like we had Oia all to ourselves. We wandered along the pathway, exploring tiny shops and boutique hotels. Sam was in awe of this gem of a town. For lunch, we found a quaint little restaurant perched on the edge of the cliff overlooking the caldera. We sampled many delicious Greek dishes. As I reflect on the perfect day that Sam & I had in Oia, Santorini, Greece I know that we are truly blessed.
